Imam Ahmed Yousuf is an Egyptian scholar with over 25 years of experience in Islamic education, leadership, and community service. He holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from Al-Azhar University and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (Canada).
In addition to his community work, Imam Ahmed is actively engaged in academic writing and research, with a particular focus on Islamic theology, spirituality, and contemporary applications of Islamic thought. His most recent academic paper was published in Malaysia, reflecting his ongoing contribution to international scholarly discourse.
He previously served as Director and Imam of an Islamic Centre in Mozambique, where he led structured programs in Qur’an memorization and Arabic language instruction. Under his supervision, dozens of students completed full Qur’an memorization through a three-year program, with many achieving distinguished results in international Qur’an competitions held in Dubai, Egypt, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia.
الشيخ أحمد يوسف احد علماء الأزهر ذو خبرة تمتد لأكثر من خمسةٍ وعشرين عاماً في ميادين التعليم الشرعي، والعمل الدعوي، وخدمة المجتمع. حاصل على درجة الماجستير في الدراسات الإسلامية من جامعة الأزهر الشريف، ويواصل حالياً دراسة ماجستير الإرشاد النفسي (Counselling Psychology) في جامعة يوركفيل – كندا.
ويُعنى الشيخ أحمد بـ البحث العلمي والكتابة الأكاديمية، وله إسهامات بحثية في العقيدة والفكر الإسلامي والتطبيقات المعاصرة للعلوم الشرعية، وقد نُشر آخر أبحاثه العلمية في ماليزيا، في إطار مشاركته في الحراك الأكاديمي الدولي.
وقد شغل سابقاً منصب مدير وإمام مركز إسلامي في جمهورية موزمبيق، حيث أشرف على برامج منهجية في تحفيظ القرآن الكريم وتعليم اللغة العربية، وتخرّج على يديه عشرات الحفّاظ ضمن برنامج علمي استمر ثلاث سنوات، وحقق عددٌ منهم نتائج متميزة في مسابقات القرآن الكريم الدولية في دبي، ومصر، وجنوب إفريقيا، والمملكة العربية السعودية.
